Reference was made to the process of regulating Armenia-Turkey relations

On September 2, Deputy Speaker of the RA National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan met with the delegation led by UN Deputy Secretary-General Miroslav Yencha. The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly presented the security situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and the region after the 44-day war unleashed by Azerbaijan in 2020. He emphasized the need to eliminate the problems and threats related to the post-war humanitarian crisis, the displaced residents, and the destruction of Artsakh's Armenian religious and cultural heritage.

The Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations thanked them for the reception and detailed presentation of the situation. Emphasizing the importance of close cooperation between Armenia and the United Nations, Miroslav Yencha expressed readiness to continue and support collaboration.

It was also noted that the UN is trying to maintain peace and stability in the region. The parties also referred to the process of regulating Armenia-Turkey relations.
