Ruben Vardanyan has announced that he will renounce his Russian citizenship and move to Artsakh.
He said. "I made a difficult decision. I decided to come to Artsakh, not just to come, but to move to Artsakh. Unfortunately, the events of the last two years have led to the fact that many have become apathetic and feel that they are abandoned, and no one needs them. I consider it unacceptable. I think that after the 2020 war, we, the Armenians of the whole world, are obliged to be with the people of Artsakh.
I want to address Russia. I thank you because I achieved my success in Russia; I established myself as a businessman, person, and professional. But I decided to renounce Russian citizenship and move to Artsakh as an RA citizen.
I am grateful that Russia is present in Artsakh today; the peacekeeping troops are standing and protecting the security of the people of Artsakh. I thank the ambassadors of France and the USA in Azerbaijan, who did not go to Shushi and Hadrut because their status has not been decided. Two weeks ago, I announced the creation of the Artsakh security and economic development front. People living in Artsakh, people who will move to Artsakh with me, Artsakh needs us."
