Russia is ready to further support the dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan on border demarcation. MFA of the Russian Federation

The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the Russian side is ready to further provide advisory and technical support to Armenia and Azerbaijan in negotiations regarding the demarcation of the state border between the two countries. 

It is noted that according to the agreement of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on November 26, 2021, the meeting of the bilateral committee on the demarcation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border was held on August 30 with the advisory support of Russia.

"The Russian delegation has expressed its willingness further to provide advisory and technical support to the two countries, contributing to increasing the level of stability and security on the border," the statement said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also informs that the new meeting dates will be additionally agreed upon through diplomatic channels.

Earlier, we informed that on August 30, the second session of the Commission on the Demarcation and Border Security of the State Border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Commission on the Demarcation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia was held in Moscow.
