Armenia highly appreciates that the ambassadors of the Minsk Group co-chair countries did not visit Shushi
RA MFA Press Secretary Vahan Hunanyan said in response to the question of "Armenpress" that Armenia highly appreciates the position of the French and US ambassadors who rejected the invitation of the Azerbaijani government to visit Shush.
Question - Recently, a conference was held in Shushi with the participation of diplomats of foreign countries accredited in Azerbaijan and representatives of international organizations. What is your comment in this regard?
Answer - We reaffirm our position regarding the inadmissibility of one-way visits to Nagorno Karabakh. We are convinced that the population of Nagorno-Karabakh should be involved in international cooperation and support programs. At the same time, we highly appreciate the position of the countries that, having a deep understanding of the conflict, refused to participate in such unilateral action.
