The ambassadors of France and the USA in Azerbaijan openly disdained the government's invitation to visit Shush. This was announced by Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan while speaking at the conference held in Shushi.
Today, the ambassadors of France and the USA are not in Shushi in Azerbaijan. They blatantly ignored the invitation of the Azerbaijani government. It should be evaluated as a non-recognition of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity," Hajiyev said, asserting that France and the USA, as co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, did not contribute to the settlement of the conflict.
"They have wasted our time for 30 years. By not participating in this visit, they again expressed disrespect," said Hikmet Hajiyev.
According to him, there is no more OSCE Minsk Group for Azerbaijan. "Attempts to revive the OSCE Minsk Group are hypocritical and shameful. The Minsk Group is an organization that committed suicide; it is already history."
