Ambassador of Iran to Armenia Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri received the Zanjan Chamber of Commerce delegation.
The ambassador stated that the Iranian government's policy is to expand cooperation, especially with neighboring countries. The Iranian embassy in Armenia is ready to cooperate with economic actors in this direction comprehensively.
The Iranian ambassador described the Armenian market as competitive, where it is possible to enter with high standards and professional steps.
Zohuri also reported that the bilateral trade turnover has increased to 560 million dollars. According to him, the authorities of Armenia and Iran intend to increase it to 1 billion dollars.
"Armenia is a very safe, reliable, and strong bridge for trade exchanges with other countries, including the Eurasian Economic Union, the European Union, and other countries," the Iranian ambassador to Armenia.
