TThe reviews of various mass media are groundless and irrelevant. I urge you to refrain from unsubstantiated reviews.

Bagrat Badalyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the RA Prime Minister, in response to Radar Armenia's inquiry, referred to the publications made in the press. We hereby present his complete answer:

"Recently, I was defamed by various mass media through publishing distorted, incomplete, and manipulated data and trying to make political speculations. Therefore, I consider it necessary to mention the following:

I have openly declared the amount of money I inherited from my father in 2020. It's worth mentioning that my father had never been in the public sector and was exclusively engaged in professional, entrepreneurial activities.

I bought the house at the expense of the money mentioned above, which can be seen quickly and without additional professional knowledge and abilities by comparing the declarations I submitted in 2020 and 2021.

The shares of the companies I owned, founded in 1995 and 2002, are entrusted to trust management by the law.

In 2018, when I was appointed the Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication, and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia, I officially applied to the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption of the Republic of Armenia with a corresponding letter. I informed them in detail about our family companies.

I want to draw your attention to the fact that during my tenure as the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, our family companies did not join any competition announced by those ministries. Participation in contests resumed only after I was released from that position.

Therefore, I consider the allusions made by various mass media on these occasions are groundless and irrelevant. I urge you to maintain ethics in publications, refraining from unsubstantiated allusions to my name."
