RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met today with the Prime Minister of neighboring Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili, and attended the opening ceremony of the new road bridge on the Debed River on the Armenian-Georgian border.
"Undoubtedly, the age-old ties of our two fraternal countries, anchored on common values and historical heritage, need such an important infrastructure in line with modern and contemporary requirements that creates a strong foundation for further extensive cooperation," Nikol Pashinyan said at the event, expressing his belief that the current existing all the prerequisites are necessary to develop and deepen relations with Georgia following the essential priorities of RA foreign policy.
The RA Prime Minister was pleasantly surprised that there was a 97% increase in trade turnover compared to last year's period.
