Citizens affected by the explosion received medical aid at government expense
After the explosion, 62 citizens were transferred to medical centers with various bodily injuries. 58 were discharged after recovery, and at the moment, four citizens are in medical centers. Presenting the situation after the explosion of the "Surmalu" shopping center, RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan said this at the executive session today, noting that the condition of the hospitalized citizens is considered satisfactory.
"Soon, everyone will be discharged after recovery," informed the minister.
The Minister of Health added that the primary injuries were fractures, splinter scratches, and burns. Avanesyan assured most of them received medical care on the first day and were sent home.
RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan inquired whether the state provided RA citizens operations and medical care. The minister emphasized that all medical care was free and that if there is a need to continue further treatment, it will be free again.
