Nagorno-Karabakh

Today marks one year of Azerbaijan's attack and depopulation of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Today is the anniversary of Azerbaijan's attack on Nagorno-Karabakh. For 9 months, closing the Lachin Corridor and encircling Nagorno-Karabakh, one year ago on this day, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces began aggression. NK combat positions were subjected to massive rocket shelling. Stepanakert, other towns, and villages were shelled. Combat operations began along the entire contact line.

Despite the stubborn resistance of the Nagorno-Karabakh Armed Forces, after a day, it was no longer possible to continue the military operations, and Samvel Shahramanyan, the elected president of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, issued a decree on the dissolution of the NKR. Then, the population of Nagorno-Karabakh was forcibly relocated to Armenia. A few days later, Nagorno-Karabakh was completely looted.
