Azerbaijan's MFA statement on the election of Artsakh president

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan announced that the presidential elections in Karabakh are a gross violation of the constitution of Azerbaijan, its laws, and the norms and principles of international law.
"The holding of the elections once again shows that Armenia and the regime it created are not interested in the peace process and are following the path of provocations and escalation of the situation," the message says.
