The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan issued a message which stated explicitly:
"On July 12, at 09:00, the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire in the Shushi region by also using an 82 mm mortar. The ceasefire violation was reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping troops."
