Hearings on the protection of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh will be held in the US Congress

On June 21, hearings on the protection of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh will be held in the Human Rights Committee of the US Congress.
"International efforts are underway to reduce the risk of a new full-scale war, including by US State Department officials. One of the main questions is what is required to adequately protect the rights and security of ethnic Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh, where Azerbaijan seeks to establish control," the statement said.
It is also noted that during the hearings, measures necessary to protect the vulnerable ethnic population of Artsakh properly will be discussed, and proposals will be presented.
