Discussion with representatives of the Armenian Law Society of America
Artsakh human rights defender Gegham Stepanyan and RA human rights defender Anahit Manasyan online discussed with representatives of the Armenian Bar Association of America.
During the meeting, the fact-finding activities carried out by human rights institutions regarding human rights violations in Artsakh and border settlements in Armenia due to crimes committed by Azerbaijan were presented, as well as information on the work being done on the international platforms regarding the humanitarian conditions created in Artsakh under the ongoing blockade and the existing problems were presented.
The representatives of the Armenian Law Society of America, in their turn, presented the works carried out by the Union, which are aimed at raising international awareness of human rights violations in Armenia and Artsakh and ensuring international involvement.
The need to use legal instruments for the protection of human rights and to ensure the continuity of effective interaction in this matter was mutually emphasized.
