14 patients were transferred from Artsakh to Armenia

Due to the blocking of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia by Azerbaijan, 14 people with tumor diseases and pathologies requiring emergency surgical interventions from the "Republican Medical Center" CJSC of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh were transferred today, March 28, with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross to specialized medical centers in Armenia.

11 medical patients, referred to Armenia for treatment within the framework of the state order, returned to Artsakh with their companions.

Planned surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical facilities operating under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh..

5 children are in the neonatal and resuscitation department in the "Arevik" medical unit.

At the "Republican Medical Center" CJSC, 5 patients are in the intensive care unit, and one is in a severe condition.

Until today, 229 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
