Due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, 9 people with tumor diseases and pathology requiring emergency surgical interventions from the "Republican Medical Center" CJSC of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh were transferred to the specialized medical centers of the Republic of Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that 9 medical patients referred to Armenia for treatment within the framework of the state order have returned to Artsakh with their companions.
Planned surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical facilities operating under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh.
In the "Arevik" medical unit, 6 children are in the neonatal and resuscitation department.
At "Republican Medical Center" CJSC, 6 patients are in the intensive care unit, and 1 is in critical condition.
Until today, 153 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
