Araik Harutyunyan paid tribute to the victims of the Sumgait crime
On the occasion of the commemoration of the victims of the pogroms organized by Azerbaijan and the day of protection of the rights of the displaced Armenian population, the President of the Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan, led by the President of the National Assembly Artur Tovmasyan, the leader of the Diocese of Artsakh of the Armenian Apostolic Church Vrtanes Bishop Abrahamyan, representatives of the legislative and executive bodies, members of the Security Council visited on February 28 came to Stepanakert city memorial complex, paid tribute and laid a wreath at the monument stone perpetuating the memory of the Armenians who were victims of the massacres organized by the Azerbaijani authorities.
Then, dedicated to the memory of the victims of the crime, a requiem ceremony was performed under the solemnity of Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, the leader of the Artsakh Diocese of AACh.
