8 people were transferred from Artsakh to Armenia through the mediation of ICRC; State Ministry of Health

Due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, eight people with tumor diseases and pathology requiring emergency surgical interventions from the "Republican Medical Center" CJSC of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia were transferred today, February 21, with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross—medical centers.

Five medical patients referred to Armenia for treatment within the framework of the state order returned to Artsakh with their companions.

Planned surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical facilities operating under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh.

Five children are in the neonatal and intensive care units in the "Arevik" medical unit.

At "Republican Medical Center" CJSC, seven patients are in the intensive care unit, and 3 of them are in critical condition.

Until today, 113 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
