Due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, 3 patients from the "Republican Medical Center" CJSC of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, two of them with tumor diseases and one with a pathology requiring surgery, were transferred to Armenia today, January 31, with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross and Specialized medical centers.
Planned surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical facilities operating under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh.
Seven children are in the neonatal and resuscitation wards in the "Arevik" medical unit.
At "Republican Medical Center" CJSC, 12 patients are in the intensive care unit, and 5 are in critical condition.
Until today, 58 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
