At the call of the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Artur Tovmasyan, he addressed the leaders of the co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk Group.
"We appeal to the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the United States Joe Biden, and President of France Emmanuel Macron.
Today is the 25th day that the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia and the outside world continues to remain closed.
The Artsakh problem was the only conflict about which all the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries had almost the same point of view. Faced with an unprecedented humanitarian disaster, the people of Artsakh, by and large, need address statements. There is a need to take practical and visible steps in that direction. Patients with serious health problems are deprived of the necessary medicine and health services, and Artsakh is deprived of baby food and necessities.
We call on the civilized world, especially the co-chairing nations of the Minsk Group, to take decisive steps toward opening the corridor or launching the air bridge, the Stepanakert airport, which will enable averting the grave humanitarian crisis in Artsakh during the winter," the statement said.
