In Artsakh, 13 children and 9 medical patients are still in the intensive care unit

Artsakh Ministry of Health informs that due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, scheduled surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical institutions under the authority of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.

13 children are in intensive care and neonatal wards in the "Arevik" medical unit. The health condition of the 4-month-old baby, diagnosed with Visceral Leishmaniasis, remains critical. Artsakh doctors provide the necessary medical care by consulting with RA specialists online.

At the "Republican Medical Center," 9 patients are in the intensive care unit, and two are in severe condition; doctors are doing everything possible to stabilize the state of the patients.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan is taking all possible measures to overcome the situation created due to the blockade properly.
