"Azerbaijan is trying to do everything to make Artsakh Armenians leave Artsakh," Artsakh NA deputy

Davit Galstyan, deputy of Artsakh NA "Justice" faction, in a conversation with Radar Armenia, referring to the possibility of opening the Lachin corridor, said that they did not imagine that the restoration of gas would be sooner and if the international pressure increases, the road will also be opened.

According to Galstyan, Azerbaijan, both during the 2020 war and now, in the atmosphere of impunity, is trying to do everything to psychologically put the Artsakh Armenians in such a condition that they leave Artsakh, solving the Karabakh issue.

We asked the MP what his opinion is about the Baku-Stepanakert direct dialogue. According to Galstyan, any discussion will only be legitimate if the official Stepanakert clarifies the status issue.

Referring to the current situation around the Lachin Corridor, the member of the Artsakh Parliament noted that, in his deep conviction, Russia's inadequate response is related to some verbal agreement by the RA Prime Minister. In this connection, it is worth reminding that RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, after the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020, has repeatedly publicly stated that there is no verbal arrangement and agreement and also noted that the issue of the corridor through the territory of Armenia is not discussed in the negotiations. The other parties to the tripartite statement of November 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, did not make any announcements about other arrangements either.
