"United Motherland" party stated the humanitarian crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh, which states explicitly:
"Azerbaijan, once again objectively proving its genocidal policy, along with blocking the Lachin humanitarian corridor connecting Nagorno-Karabakh with Armenia, has stopped the gas supplied by pipelines passing through the territories under its control, facing a humanitarian disaster for the 120,000 population of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The experience of living in the neighborhood with Azerbaijan suggests that the latter will continuously intensify the nature and volume of provocations, putting to the test our will and readiness to keep Artsakh Armenian. Therefore the "United Motherland" party calls:
1. To the people of Artsakh:
Not to give in to the Azerbaijani side's humanitarian and information-psychological provocations, maintain composure and proper public behavior, and show maximum organization in the professional trench.
2. Of the Government of the Republic of Artsakh:
- In cooperation with the Government of Armenia, to concentrate construction equipment on both sides and give impetus to the construction of the road section of the pre-arranged alternative route, thus minimizing the risk of being in a blockade for a long time and the consequences arising from it.
- With the joint efforts of the Artsakh Foreign Ministry and the Diaspora, to focus the attention of UN bodies, UN Security Council member countries, humanitarian, human rights, and non-governmental organizations on the existential problems of the Artsakh people. On that basis, in cooperation with RA, take active steps in delegating the mandate of a peacekeeping mission in Nagorno Karabakh by the resolution of the UN Security Council until the comprehensive political settlement of the conflict.
- To form and introduce sustainable resistance mechanisms, preparing the public in a multifaceted manner for a long-term struggle. Form a quick response center, mobilize and rationally distribute internal resources, provide the public with alternative fuel, food, and other necessary resources as required, and conduct a pre-offensive information policy.
The "United Motherland" party will continue to devote its internal and external capabilities to protecting and securing the people of Artsakh's right to self-determination.
