In Artsakh, 2 cases of fire were registered as a result of the use of metal gas cylinders
The state emergency service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh reported that due to the lack of natural gas supply in the republic, citizens use metal gas cylinders in their homes, which are dangerous from the point of view of fire hazards.
Only today, December 14, 2 cases of fire were registered at the 911 alarm center of the ES state service, the cause of which was the explosion of a gas cylinder or their malfunction. Fortunately, no severe damage was reported in both case.
"Let's record that the explosion of a gas cylinder in apartments can cause a fire or other emergency. To avoid creating dangerous situations for life and health, it is necessary to observe the norms and requirements for using gas cylinders to check their suitability with the help of relevant specialists before using them.
The statement said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs urges all citizens to strictly observe fire safety rules to avoid unwanted emergencies and incidents and to exclude accidents with an unfortunate outcomes," the statement said.
