RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan, on his Twitter page,e referred to Azerbaijanis' closure of the Stepanakert-Goris highway and the resulting situation. The Speaker of the National Assembly, in particular, noted.
"Environmentalists in civilian clothes and officers' titles, blocking the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, actually took hostage the 120,000 Armenian population." This was followed by the suspension of gas supply to Artsakh. This is another attempt at ethnic annihilation of Artsakh Armenians. Will the world pretend to be blind again?" wrote Alen Simonyan.
