The airport of Artsakh does not operate; interstate passenger transportation is not carried out
The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Artsakh reported that due to Azerbaijan's blocking off the only route connecting Artsakh to Armenia, interstate passenger transportation had been suspended for the second day.
It is noted that many citizens have purchased tickets to Yerevan and other regions of Armenia. The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Artsakh, together with the Stepanakert Municipality, temporarily accommodated about 100 passengers who remained on the road due to the disruption of Stepanakert-Yerevan regular passenger transportation in Stepanakert and Goris hotels and guesthouses.
Due to the Azerbaijani blockade, many citizens, including patients needing immediate medical care, could not reach Zvartnots International Airport to travel abroad. International flights continue to be carried out without Artsakh citizens. The only airport of the Republic of Artsakh is also not functioning due to Azerbaijani threats.
