We urge the Russian peacekeepers to prevent similar anti-human actions of the Azerbaijanis with the most brutal measures

The factions of the National Assembly of Artsakh made a statement about the closure of the highway connecting Armenia to Artsakh by Azerbaijani environmentalist activists. The statement states explicitly:

"Azerbaijani, who used phosphorous bombs against the civilian population of Artsakh, blocked the Stepanakert-Goris road of life for the second time in recent days under the pretext of environmentalism, the highway that was given the status of a corridor by the tripartite agreement of November 9-10.

We strongly condemn the provocative actions organized by the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan, which is aimed at destabilizing the situation in the region.

We appeal to the citizens of the Republic of Artsakh to show restraint and to be vigilant to prevent any provocative actions of Azerbaijanis with joint efforts. Our people, who have overcome many difficulties during their struggle for survival, will face the current and future challenges again this time.

We call on the international community to take concrete steps to curb Azerbaijan's aggressive ambitions.

We urge the Russian peacekeepers within the framework of the tripartite agreement to prevent similar anti-human actions by the Azerbaijanis with the most stringent measures."
