The Office of the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh informs that only the authorized representatives of the Republic of Artsakh participate in the meetings held with the representatives of Azerbaijan with the mediation and participation of the peacekeeping troops of the Russian Federation stationed in the Republic of Artsakh.
"Particularly, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh participated in the meeting held on December 7 at the place of permanent deployment of the Russian peacekeeping troops as a coordinator of issues of cooperation with the Russian peacekeeping troops stationed in Artsakh.
It is necessary to inform the public that the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh acts exclusively from the position of protecting the interests of the Republic of Artsakh at the meetings held with the mediation of Russian peacekeepers.
Referring to the meeting mentioned above, we inform you that the representative of the Republic of Artsakh has raised the concerns of the Artsakh side with arguments and justifications, both about the ecological problems created as a result of Azerbaijan's actions in Artsakh and about other security challenges. At the same time, we emphasize again that the Artsakh side will continue its commitment to protecting the interests of Artsakh by all possible means," the statement said.
