On November 4, the President of the Artsakh Republic, Arayik Harutyunyan, introduced the newly appointed State Minister, Ruben Vardanyan, to the government members and the employees of the State Minister's office.
According to the correspondent of "Artsakhpress", in his speech, the head of the country thanked Artak Beglaryan for his selfless work and expressed confidence that he will use all his potential, knowledge and experience for the development of Artsakh and the welfare of our people in the future.
Presenting the new state minister, Arayik Harutyunyan noted that he is happy that Ruben Vardanyan accepted his offer to take up that position, because he has been with Artsakh for more than 20 years, and was by our side during the war, and after that he started " To implement more active social and charitable programs in Artsakh through the Aurora to Artsakh" program. According to the president, Ruben Vardanyan's devotion to the motherland, faith, strength, energy, ability to infect others with them and unite around the idea are extremely important for us now. And we just need his experience, opportunities, valuable connections with the whole world at this stage.
"The most important thing is that he believes in the future of Artsakh. He is convinced that the future of the entire Armenian people is being decided in Artsakh, and by his actions he confirmed that there is nothing more important for him than coming to Artsakh and being here with us, sharing our destiny with us. He is with us, and such people should be supported as much as possible in serving the Motherland," the head of the country emphasized.
Araik Harutyunyan assured the new state minister that he will have the support of the President, the government, the parliament and the entire people of Artsakh. "You, together with us, have no other way but to succeed. To succeed for the sake of Artsakh, for the sake of the people of Artsakh, for the sake of our right to live in our historical land, for the sake of keeping Artsakh Armenian," the Armenian President concluded his speech.
Artak Beglaryan thanked the state and the people for the opportunity given to him. "Now we have many big challenges and problems, both accumulated for a long time and caused by this crisis. I really hope that Mr. Vardanyan's mission will be successful. I and our other colleagues are ready to stand by Mr. Vardanyan's side in order to achieve greater success together," he said.
Ruben Vardanyan emphasized that it is a great honor and much greater responsibility for him to assume the position of Artsakh State Minister at this time.
"I made that decision, realizing the seriousness of the situation. We must understand that now it is a domestic war for us, a crisis situation that will require all of us to invest forces and efforts so that Artsakh has its security, subjectivity and development. If we do not realize this and do everything to achieve this goal, it will mean that we, as people with experience and opportunities, are not fulfilling our duty to our people.
I have been here for two months, I have met with many people in the villages, with the youth, with members of the government, in the National Assembly, and with various figures. Maybe you don't feel it, but I want to say that the people of Artsakh are an example for everyone in the sense that despite this difficult situation, they stay here, live, have children. And I am proud to stand by your side, so that we all serve, work to protect our motherland, so that we have a bright future. We received Artsakh from our ancestors and we are obliged to pass it on to the next generations of Armenians," said Ruben Vardanyan.
