The CE deputies expressed their willingness to support Artsakh Armenians
On November 1, at the permanent representation of Artsakh in RA, the delegation led by the President of the National Assembly of Artsakh, Artur Tovmasyan, received CE parliamentarians, a Dutch member of the European Parliament, a member of the EPP political group, co-founder of the CE friendship group with Artsakh, Peter Van Dalen, former vice-president of the CE, Italian independent MP Fabio Massimo. Kastaldon, German MP, YPR political group member Lars Patrick Berg.
The interlocutors discussed the consequences of the 44-day war and the political developments surrounding the Republic of Artsakh, and the obstacles that appeared for Artsakh in foreign political contacts were discussed. The parties exchanged ideas on the current stage of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict, the right of the people of Artsakh to a safe and peaceful life, as well as the issues of curbing Azerbaijan's aspirations. The guests expressed their will to be with Artsakh in raising these issues and emphasized their readiness to support Artsakh Armenians in overcoming them.
