Representatives of Artsakh HRD are making visits to communities
The representatives of the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Artsakh visited Karmir Bazar, Taghavard, Murishen, Nor Shen, and Mkhitarashen, Shosh communities of the Askerani region.
The purpose of the visits is to record the existing security problems and obstacles to the organization of everyday life in civilian settlements near the contact line as a result of the 2020 war.
The Human Rights Institution has repeatedly stated that the presence of the Azerbaijani armed forces in the vicinity of civilian settlements is a direct threat to the rights and security of the civilian population and disrupts the everyday life of people in their native territories.
The results of the visits will be summarized in the following extraordinary report prepared by the Human Rights Defender.
