Azerbaijani shootings damaged 2 houses. RA HRD

Artsakh Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan informs that on September 12, around 04:00-04:30 in the morning, the Azerbaijani side opened fire from the positions in front of the Red Market and Taghavard communities of the Martuni region of the Republic of Artsakh, using different types and calibers of firearms. The firing lasted about 30 minutes.

According to currently verified information, two residential houses were damaged in the Karmir Market community due to Azeri's criminal activities. In the case of one of the houses, the bullet hit the balcony door of the second floor and penetrated the room of the house. All 4 members, including one minor, were in the place and woke up from the gunshots.

In the other case, the fired bullet hit the chimney in the yard of the residential house.

Azerbaijani shootings damaged one house in the Taghavard community, and a large-caliber machine gun bullet was found in the yard of a nearby house.

The work of collecting facts on the damages among the civilian population regarding firing by the HRD staff continues.

These actions are another proof of Azeri criminal behavior against the life, physical and psychological integrity of the people of Artsakh, the policy of ethnic cleansing carried out against the people of Artsakh, the purpose of which is to terrorize people living in Artsakh and disrupt their everyday life and activities.
