Firefighters extinguished the fire that broke out in Stepanakert

On September 4, at 3:26 p.m., the 911 crisis management center of the ES state service received an alarm that a fire had broken out in the area adjacent to Tumanyan 121, Stepanakert city, and dry grassland was burning.

At 3:27 p.m., one combat unit from the fire-rescue department of the rescue forces department went to the scene with a fire truck. Due to the wind speed, the fire quickly spread in the mentioned area, considering that at 15:40, the second fire truck went to help.

Three more fire brigades and the operative group of the particular rapid response unit were sent to the scene to organize the fire extinguishing works more effectively.

During the extinguishing of the fire, one unit of "F-1" type hand grenade was found. At 4:30 p.m., the mining team of the service went to the specified place and moved the found ammunition to a safe area for storage.

The fire was isolated at 16:20 and extinguished at 18:40.

As a result of the fire, about 1 ha of dry grassland, trees, and bushes were burned.

The service's state fire and technical safety inspection are conducting inspections on the incident.
