Artur Tovmasyan, head of the Artsakh parliament, welcomed France and the USA ambassadors' frank attitude concerning visiting the occupied territory.
"The government and the oppositions are one and a whole. No matter how much wars wear us out, people will live in this holy land, each of whom deserves attention and respect.
The Republic of Artsakh is among us, and if each of us searches for and finds a decent land, no one can force us to live in a country imposed on them.
The ambassadors of the co-chair countries of the Minsk Group, France and the United States, turned down the Azerbaijani government's invitation to visit Shush and thereby provoked the undisguised anger of the Baku authorities.
Welcoming the ambassadors of the co-chair countries of the Minsk Group not to visit the occupied territory, we once again make sure that the conflict is not over and requires a political solution exclusively under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group," the statement said.
