Artsakh announced mourning on August 17-18 in memory of those who died due to the Surmalu explosion.

On August 16, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, signed a decree, according to which mourning was declared in the Republic of Artsakh on August 17-18, 2022 inclusive, in memory of the people who were killed due to the explosion on the territory of Yerevan Canning Factory on August 14, 2022.
The heads of all state departments and local self-government bodies of the Republic of Artsakh were instructed to lower the state flag of the Republic of Artsakh on the day of mourning in the Republic's representatives' buildings of Artsakh and foreign countries.
