There are several programs to support the residents of Aghavno and Berdzor
As we informed earlier, residents of the Aghavno and Berdzor settlements of Artsakh should leave their communities by August 25, according to the joint statement of 2020. According to the joint statement of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia on November 9, the settlements mentioned above should come under the control of Azerbaijan. Radar Armenia talked to Gegham Stepanyan, HRD of the Republic of Artsakh, about the topic.
"The National Human Rights Council works quite actively with the residents of Aghavno and the residents of different communities in general, and if necessary, all the measures arising from the functions of the Human Rights Council are carried out," said the Human Rights Council Gegham Stepanyan, answering the question whether he met the residents of Aghavno and heard their concerns.
Touching upon the incident of the apartment burning by Aghavno residents and the resulting consequences, Stepanyan said that, by and large, there can be no question of any effects at the moment.
