- The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service reported that representatives of the US and Britain recently organized a meeting and discussed the issue of replacing Ukrainian President Zelensky with Ukrainian Ambassador to London Valery Zaluzhny. He was also present at that discussion. How feasible is this, and why are they taking this step?
- The reliability of the news is still questionable. But if we assume that it corresponds to reality, then we should think about the theory of buying time. It can be taken about a new round. But I don't believe that anything significant will change at this point. If Zelensky also participated, then we are talking about an agreed scenario, rather than about buying time.
- Since representatives of Ukraine also participated, we can say that they are not against such a change there.
- That is why there can be talk about an agreed scenario. If, of course, the news is reliable.
- What are the signs of a settlement in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, if we also take into account Trump's 10-day deadline?
- There will be new sanctions, new isolation measures. Ukraine will receive new assistance. The duration of the war seems to be a goal, during which there will be trade, negotiations, tightening, a standstill, and other ups and downs until the main agreements are reached.
- The Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan spoke about the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace agreement, noting that the process should be accelerated, and also talked about the "Zangezur" corridor. What does this mean? Can the agreements on this issue be implemented?
- This is not the first time that Ankara's representatives have spoken about accelerating the process. There may not be a final agreement. They exclude any possibility of a Russian presence. The Americans, in particular, are inclined to be present in the South Caucasus in various formats.
- Iran seems to have started to show some activity in Armenian-Azerbaijani relations again. What does this mean, and what will it lead to?
- Iran is not going to give up everything in the South Caucasus, while at the same time it is negotiating with the US. It wants to regain its lost negotiating positions, moreover, in the South Caucasus.
