The interlocutor of Radar Armenia is public figure Mikayel Hayrapetyan.
- How would you interpret the situation in Georgia?
- The situation created in Georgia has very little connection with Georgia's domestic processes, just like the tides and precipitations of Earth are caused by the gravitation of the Sun and the Moon, far away from the Earth. However, it is not necessary to make it absolute. Now, we can only admire the persistence of the Georgian people.
- Are the country's authorities changing the foreign political vector by removing the EU membership process from the agenda?
- Vector will not change in Georgia. The Georgian political class now successfully solves only one problem for the country: staying out of the crossfire.
- What consequences will the increase of Russian influence in Georgia have on Armenia and RA-EU relations?
- We are used to seeing problems only from a local point of view; we need a global perspective. There is no Armenia, Georgia, or Azerbaijan for power and civilization centers; there is one common region with only color differences. Accordingly, the never-ending Russian influence in Georgia before the energies of Russian influence in Armenia and Azerbaijan balance the big storm. RA-EU relations were, are, and will be shortly only to the degree that the power ratio of the West and Russia will be in the South Caucasus region. Of course, a lot depends on the creativity of our political thought and how we will be able to use the Georgian developments. Every weapon that does not kill us can become a weapon in our own hands. So, Armenia is not threatened by any critical lousy thing in its relations with the EU.
- Former NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg stated that a quick end to the war in Ukraine without territorial losses is not realistic, and perhaps to achieve peace, Kyiv will have to "temporarily" give up the occupied territories. What does NATO mean to Ukraine with this statement?
- It does not make it clear but hides the fact that Ukraine is a victim of the games of the big ones like we were the victims of Russia or Anatolia during the First World War.
- Putin stated that the Russian Federation is ready to resolve the disputed issues peacefully but is prepared for any development of events. What does Putin mean by any development?
- Putin and any leader of Russia of all time means the worst, in this case, up to nuclear war. Anyone familiar with the history of Russian state political thought, even a little superficially, realizes this.
- What do you think? Will the new US President Trump be able to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict, or will the war continue?
- Of course, Trump will be able to stop the war. The question is whether He will want to do it. I think he won't want to for now. Again, we face our lack of desire or ability to see the problems on the global banner.
