Reuters reports that China has imposed additional tariffs on US goods, raising them to 125%.
China's Ministry of Finance said that if the US continues to infringe on China's interests significantly, China will take resolute countermeasures and fight to the end.
"The imposition of abnormally high tariffs on China by the US seriously violates international and economic trade rules, fundamental laws of economics, and common sense and is completely unilateral coercion and oppression," the minister said.
