S&P Global Ratings maintained Armenia's "stable" outlook

On August 23, the international rating organization S&P Global Ratings published Armenia's sovereign rating, which remained unchanged at the "BB-/B" level.

The rating's "stable" outlook rating was also maintained.

Armenia's rating is limited by the following factors: the country's weak but gradually improving institutional framework, moderate per capita income level, balance of payments and fiscal vulnerabilities, and geopolitical risks.

Armenia's strong economic growth outlook, moderate level of public debt, access to official external financing, and prudent policy framework have positively impacted ratings. The framework has maintained economic and financial stability in the face of multiple external shocks.
