The Parliament of Kazakhstan has adopted a law on digital mining licensing

The Parliament of Kazakhstan has approved the amendments to the regulation of digital mining. According to the bill, the consumption of conventional electricity for digital mining by connecting it to the available power system is prohibited.
Under the new law, two categories of digital mining licensing are introduced. The first is digital miners that have the appropriate infrastructure and data centers. The second is the owners of equipment, rental devices, and data centers necessary for digital mining.
