The press service of the English national team appealed to the fans after the end of the 2024 European Championship. Notably, in the final, the English lost to the Spanish national team with a score of 1:2.
"We thank you, our wonderful fans, for your support throughout the tournament," the team's press service said in a statement on the X social network.
Earlier, it became known that the fans would not be able to meet the national team players at the airport after the defeat in the final, upon their arrival from Germany, because the players would leave the airport building through a private terminal.
England became the first team to lose two consecutive Euro 2012 finals. The Spanish national team won Euro-2016 for the 4th time. This is a record among all European national teams.
