Lamine Yamal, the Spanish national team's midfielder, became the youngest player to score a goal in the history of the European and World Championships, reports Opta Sports.
In the Euro-2024 semi-final match against France, Yamal equalized the score in the 21st minute. The 16-year-old midfielder has broken the record of Pele, who, at 17, scored the goal of the Brazilian national team at the World Cup.
It should be noted that the Spanish team reached the final.
