UEFA fined Georgia and Turkey for fighting between fans

UEFA fined the football federations of Georgia and Turkey for the brawl of fans at the Dortmund stadium.

The Georgian Federation was fined 30,000 euros, Turkey - 25,000.

It should be noted that the Georgia-Turkey match took place on June 18 and ended with the victory of the Turkish team with a score of 3:1. The conflict between fans took place in the tribune shortly before the start of the match.

The total amount of fines applied to the Georgian Football Federation reached 1.3 million euros. Of the 24 federations represented in the group stage, only Slovakia and Spain did not receive fines.

UEFA has fined Germany €20,000 for failing to secure the pitch during matches against Portugal, the Czech Republic and Turkey, after fans stormed the pitch to take pictures with Ronaldo during and after the matches.
