Slovenia and Serbia met in the second round of the European Championship's group stage.
In the 69th minute, the Slovenian national team opened the scoring. Žan Karničnik stood out. It seemed that Slovenia's victory was inevitable, but at the end of the match, in the 6th minute added by the referee, the Serbs managed to avoid defeat. Luka Jović scored the second goal, 1:1.
