In first place is the film Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, with a budget of about $ 400 million. This film, starring Tom Cruise, became the year's most expensive project, with high costs for stunts, international filming, and over-the-top visual effects. By December, it had collected about $500–600 million in ratings.
