Yandex has introduced its first headphones equipped with artificial intelligence, called Yandex Drops.
The AI functions in the headphones will be powered by Alice AI. The user can at any time turn to the AI assistant with a voice command and get answers to questions. "Alice" will work not only with Yandex Drops headphones but also with Yandex Stations devices.
The AI assistant can control music playback and let you create notes and reminders. The user can ask "Alice" to remember programs, to-dos, or random thoughts. The neural network will save all the user's requests during the conversation as structured notes and reminders.
The recordings will be available both through the headphones and on a smartphone or computer. The notes will be available in a chat with "Alice AI" or through the headset's voice interface.
According to Yandex, Yandex Drops headphones will go on sale in the first quarter of 2026. Details regarding the device's technical specifications and price have not yet been released.
