The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced in January the theme of its next exhibition: “Costume Art.” The exhibition will bring together 200 works of art and 200 accessories and clothing pieces for the first time, showcasing how clothing can be considered equal to art.
The Met Gala will feature a new space and display, creating a unique venue where fashion and art converge.
