The Sun Has "Woken Up" Again: Scientists Are Surprised by Unexpected Flares

Intense flares have been re-recorded on the Sun, contrary to scientists' predictions. Although the highest, X-class flares have not yet been observed, the Sun's activity has increased significantly in recent days.

The Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported that two giant active regions are now "burning" on the Sun's surface, each with a diameter of about 150,000 km. According to experts, given the rather stormy course of late September and early October, the Sun's energy should not have recovered quickly; however, an unexpected revival is now being observed.
