Instagram has over 3 billion active users and is launching its own award. The new initiative, Instagram Rings, aims to recognize and encourage the platform's most creative and influential users.
Only 25 selected creators will receive the Rings award. The winners will receive a physical ring designed by renowned English designer Grace Wales Bonner. A digital “gold” ring will also appear on their social network pages, creating exclusive personalization opportunities, including a gold frame for their stories (Stories) and a color change on their page.
The criteria for selecting the winners include:
- creative risk,
- innovative content,
- multi-content communication across the platform’s various formats (Reels, Stories, Live, etc.).
Instagram plans to make the Rings program an annual program, continuously recognizing and supporting innovative and influential creators.
